Ameru Community Cultural Stakeholders Association (ACCSA)

Ameru Community Cultural Stakeholders Association (ACCSA) is a non-political, non-profit, community-based association that brings together individuals, cultural practitioners, institutions, and organizations committed to the promotion, preservation, protection, and celebration of the cultural heritage and diversity of the Ameru People of Meru County, Tharaka Nithi County and the broader communities of Kenya.

The Ameru Community Cultural Stakeholders Association (ACCSA) was founded to serve as a unified platform for cultural stakeholders in the greater Meru region, encompassing Meru, and Tharaka Nithi counties.

The Association consists of cultural custodians, historians, artists, performers, traditional leaders, educators, youth leaders, and other community actors who are passionate about protecting and promoting Ameru traditions and heritage.

ACCSA operates under the guidance and blessing of traditional institutions like the Njuri Ncheke Supreme Council of Elders, working collaboratively with county governments, the Ministry of Culture, educational institutions, and development partners to fulfill its mission.
